About Me
I am Ms. Shannon McCoy and I will be your child’s Math and Social Studies teacher at GHE this school year. This will be my 24th year as an educator. I began as a paraprofessional at CCSS for 5 years and 19 years as a certified teacher at Douglas County and Carrollton City Schools. I have taught 2nd – 5th throughout my career. Out of all grades taught, 4th grade was and is the best! In my spare time I enjoy binge watching movies on NETFLIX, watching wrestling, and spending time with my family. I look forward to working with you and your child!
